CELEBRATION OF THE 167th BIRTHDAY OF THE FOUNDER GRAND MASTER DASIRA NARADA
Dear Disciples, my warmest welcome to everyone,
Today is the 167th birthday of the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada. Thay and Co are very happy to see that many disciples around the world have come here for the celebration. On this special occasion, Thay and Co would like to remind disciples about the virtue, merit, and the sacred mission of our beloved Founder Grand Master.
The Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada is a Heavenly Messenger, who came to our world on October 24th , 1846 with a sacred mission. That is to help humankind awaken to the ultimate truth about the evolution of every being, and to develop a Dharma of liberation, guiding people out of misery and suffering. His moral principles have help transform many people in an amazing way, from being un-awakened, superstitious and pessimistic into awakened, optimistic and active individuals. By following His profound method of cultivation and meditation, practitioners are able to raise themselves above the ordinary way of living and out-dated traditions. He teaches us how to utilize our innate divine capacity to bring goodness to life; and during these noble moments, we have an opportunity to develop loving-kindness for one another, cultivating virtue and receiving merits to lessen the burden of our karma.
All Heavenly Messengers who come to this secular world have been delegated with the responsibility of serving for the Grand Scheme of Evolution. They do not come here to relearn the evolutionary lessons of ordinary people. Neither, they are here due to the command of the Law of Karma. Instead, they all have made a commitment, returning to the secular world to fulfill a specific duty of guiding humankind toward liberation. Their presence always manifests the element of sacredness with significant spiritual difference compared to that of ordinary people... Ordinary people continue to go through the many cycles of reincarnation because they still have karma. Their life circumstances, family relation, destiny, etc… are determined by the overall level of their virtue, merit, and karma. On the other hand, the presence of the Messengers in the physical world is arranged by the Assembly of the Higher Beings. When these Holy Messengers come to the secular world, they must take on a human form and live among other ordinary human beings…
They are born to an environment that is suitable for the teaching and guiding of humankind towards spiritual development. If we observe them closely, we will notice their way of living and their moral characters are obviously different from ordinary people. This is because even when they appear in human physical body, they are leading their life with the Divine-Self. They come here with their Divine-Self and they will leave this secular world with their Divine- Self. Nothing in the physical world would ever have the influence to contaminate the pureness of their divinity. Sometimes, they may hold a high position in society and have a comfortable life. However, their minds are not in the world of erroneous desires. Neither they attach themselves to the material world and be affected by the up and down of the surrounding. In fact, they are living with a peaceful inner self, dedicating their minds and hearts to the responsibility of bringing Light to all…
The Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada has done the same thing. Despite having a successful life in terms of wealth and fame, He had left everything behind and dedicated all of His time to meditation and cultivation with the goal to develop a Divine Dharma that could help people eliminate misery and develop clarity of mind. The important thing we should all remember is that He is not here to establish a religion. His method of meditation and cultivation does not require practitioners to isolate themselves from the rest of society. His teachings do not contradict the moral guidance of any other Heavenly Messengers. The quintessence of the Founder Grand Master’s teachings is the practice of a dual path of cultivation, a practice that would yield meaningful rewards for our ordinary life as well as our spirituality… Since the presence of humankind on Earth, His Divine Dharma can be considered the most effective method of spiritual cultivation for it has shown us how to meditate effectively in order to develop wisdom. It also gives us a practical means to fulfill our noble wishes of serving humanity. The Founder Grand Master also encourages us to help others as much as we can so that we have an opportunity to interact with people and contemplate about their unfortunate circumstance. Thereafter, we can learn many precious lessons and gain necessary experiences for the development of our souls. As a result, we can prevent ourselves from falling into similar situations that create anguish and suffering…
After the Founder Grand Master passed on His Divine Dharma to the Second Grand Master, in 1924 He left for an unknown place and no one ever saw him again.
In this secular world, the Law of Karma and the Law of Birth- Death-Rebirth are always acting in accordance with the Evolutionary Plan of Heaven to educate every human being. We should ask ourselves the following questions. What is our evolutionary level when we come to life and where do we stand when we finally leave this life..? Are we awakened or are we in delusion during this relatively short lifetime..? Have we ever been able to do anything meaningful and worthwhile to bring about a sacred merit for ourselves and many generations to come..? More or less, the degree of awakening and discernment of a person will tell us about the evolutionary level of their soul. The easiest thing for us to know about our own evolution is to look deep into our minds and hearts to see how are we feeling and how our life has been proceeding? This is because the answer is already there, manifesting itself in every situation of life… Thereafter, we can make a promise to ourselves to set up a definite goal on our path and let us aim to detach ourselves from the conduct of arrogance and self-attachment. Knowing that our spiritual development is still somehow mediocre, let us try to work harder in our spiritual practice. We have been blessed with an opportunity to learn His Divine Dharma, we should be more conscious about our own spiritual progress. With dedication and determination, and without any moment of distraction, may we devote our very best to spiritual cultivation and to the service of humanity..!
Talking about the impermanent aspect of a physical life, the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada is no longer here with us in His human physical form. Talking about the eternity, the pure and sacred vibration of His Dharma Body is forever eternal. In other words, the Founder Grand Master has evolved beyond the physical world of ordinary human beings and now he exists in the spiritual dimension. His Dharma Body continues to manifest itself in the hearts and souls of every conscientious disciple. When we have genuine Trust in the Founder Grand Master, and endeavour to cultivate ourselves with heart, surely we will experience a harmonious fusion of our consciousnesses with His Dharmic vibration. Trust is a genuine belief in the teaching of Truth. This is the most important factor that solidifies one’s feet on the Path. It is a matter of fact that UHBE disciples, who have affinity for the Divine Dharma of the Founder Grand Master, are striving to follow His teachings, cultivating virtue and building merit. These disciples are experiencing many obvious transformations. They are being blessed with an ascended consciousness, a peaceful mind and a healthy life.
In the physical world, there are good forces and there are bad forces; one is clearly distinguished from the other. With careful observation, we can clearly see how everything in life is changing under the influences of these two forces. What if the cause of these forces are generated in our own mind and later expressed into actions then what will be the final effect? Therefore, it is very important to follow the right path and practice cultivation correctly. If we have been experiencing some inner peace and gaining better understanding about the Laws of the Universe, leading a noble life and treating everyone with loving kindness then we should know that we are following the genuine teaching of Truth and we are on the right path. On the other hand, if we feel miserable and restless then we should realize that we are on the wrong path that leads us further away from the Will of Heaven. Falling to recognize this fact, the progress of our evolution will certainly be hindered and slowed down by many lifetimes…
UHBE members are putting their trust in the Founder Grand Master and His teachings. They are living gracefully in the blessing of His dharmic manifestation. At the same time, they are receiving continual guidance from Thay and Co… In every corner of the world, UHBE members are practicing cultivation earnestly and devoting themselves to help human fellows. In this way, their souls will continue to ascend unceasingly to a higher level of spirituality. The Spiritual Science Discipline of UHBE is developing steadily and strongly. Everyday its members are utilizing their understanding of His teachings of Truth to do good deeds and serve for the goodness of all. This movement will continue to grow day by day. This is such a blessing for the whole world! Humankind will gradually come together in One Harmonious Oneness. Crime and war will finally disappear. This will be the day when Thay, Co and all UHBE disciples fulfill our blessed responsibilities.
