MEMO - Taipei Class Report - from Susan Luong
Dear all Instructors and Leaders of UHBE Centers,
On behalf of UHBE Headquarter, I am writing to provide a progress report on the Level 1 & 2 Class in Taipei which was recently held in November 2013.
Although the number of participating students was small, the Class was nevertheless held and was a success!
There were 18 individuals who were present for the Taipei class, including our Founder Masters Thay Thuan and Co Hai. We would like to thank the following members for traveling to Taipei to help with this Class:

ALL MEMBERS, INCLUDING THE INSTRUCTORS, PAY FOR ALL OF THEIR OWN EXPENSES FOR THE TRIP.

Besides money donation, we are grateful to the following Centers for their additional contributions:
Rosemead Center – use of translation machines, Mandarin CDs for students, Fonda Au to provide Mandarin translation for the class lecture.
Hong Kong Center – picture of Grand Master Dasira Narada for class lecture hall, picture of second Grand Master Narada Mahathera, printing textbooks for students, airport transportation arrangements, and tour guides during our stay in Taipei since there is no UHBE center yet.
Due to the success from the 11/2013 Class, we are very pleased to announce that the next Level 1 & 2 Class in Taipei will be held from February 17 to 22, 2014. Founder Masters encourage all members to open their hearts to help with the next class in Taipei, especially members who are knowledgeable in the Chinese language. Please contact Susan Luong at 206-579-8818 if your Center has any interested helpers or students for this upcoming class.
Members from the above listed Centers have acquired merit from their contributions toward the previous Taipei Class. May Grand Master blesses all of you as you obtain more merit in helping more humanity in your cultivation journey.
