CELEBRATION OF THE 167th BIRTHDAY OF THE FOUNDER GRAND MASTER DASIRA NARADA
My sincere greetings to all disciples,
In honor of the 167th birthday celebration of the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada, we would like to extend our congratulation to all members of the UHBE discipline on their merit and accomplishment. May the blessing of the Founder Grand Master continue to shine upon His disciples so that we can all ascend steadily on the journey of spiritual development!
As members of UHBE discipline, we understand that the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada developed the preeminent teaching of “VI DIEU PHAP”, which can be translated into English as “Divine Dharma”. At present, the Vietnamese name for the UHBE discipline is called “VI DIEU PHAP HANH THIEN”, which can be translated into English as “Divine Dharma Meditation”.
The Founder Grand Master is a Messenger of The Supreme Being. He comes to our world with the mission of bringing Love to humankind. He guides us towards the achievement of awakening, and the development of moral harmony so that we can all come together, connecting every cultures, religions, and races towards a Harmonious Oneness. In brief, the objective of the Founder Grand Master’s teachings is to show us how to liberate ourselves from ordinary traditions and selfish way of living. Following the Divine Dharma of the Founder Grand Master, Thay and Co developed the discipline of UHBE. We have utilized our spiritual strength to incorporate the teachings of the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada with its unique method of chakra opening in the development of a suitable practice and guidance for the students of UHBE discipline.
The mandate of UHBE discipline is to guide practitioners to rediscover their latent divine potential through the practice of meditation and altruistic service as well as to promote peace and harmony in the world. In order to achieve this noble objective, each disciple should try to put aside their own personal self-interest and dedicate their best to helping others in kind. The Founder Grand Master teaches that social laws and knowledge of the ordinary world do not have the power to transform selfish, negative people into generous, virtuous people. Neither can ordinary knowledge provide necessary means to build a better society whereby its citizens still continue to look for things to satisfy their personal gain. If we wish to build the world a better place, we must first support society to develop good people. This is the quintessential principle of the Founder Grand Master’s teachings. Disciples should continue to have faith in the Founder Grand Master and ask for His blessing. In addition, they should follow the guidance of Thay and Co, to transform themselves to become better persons. In so doing, they will achieve true awakening. Thereafter, disciples should apply their understanding and utilize their own practical experiences to help others with compassion and dedication in order to contribute a helping hand in developing good citizens for today society and generations to come.
Today is such a happy occasion because at this very moment, we do not worry about countless issues of our daily life activities. Instead, we are here together in the loving embrace of the Founder Grand Master, feeling peaceful and happy for we are being blessed by the immense light of His compassion. In this scared moment, may we direct our hearts and minds to pray for the happiness of everyone in the world! May we learn to forgive and forget, and treat everyone with compassion and loving kindness! And may we work together to bring peace and harmony to the whole world! In order for these wishes to become a reality, each one of us must make a commitment to put aside our personal interests and provide our best support to bring goodness to all.
As UHBE disciples, we must liberate ourselves from all senses of selfishness and attachment so that our spirituality can become clearer and brighter. At the same time, we should understand that, in order for our heart of compassion to manifest, there must be an unfortunate circumstance for the heart to feel and to be touched. Being close to a person with sickness and suffering is one of the best chances for us to develop our compassion for one another. This is the reason why sickness is considered soil, karma is considered fertilizer, and affliction is considered water. All of these are nourishments for the development of the flowers of wisdom and the foundation of courage.
Furthermore, we must have a sufficient level of endurance in order to fulfill our sacred responsibility. Nowadays, the world is facing many problems and turbulences. People are experiencing so many struggles and adversity, for these are lessons of karmic repayment. As spiritual cultivators, we must have immense endurance and fortitude to overcome all challenges and difficulty so that we can ascend successfully forwards with our evolution. Otherwise, we will continue to experience suffering through the endless cycle of birth- death-and rebirth, lifetime after lifetime.
UHBE disciples should understand that we come to this secular world to take the education of evolution. We are not here for physical enjoyment and pleasure. If we do think so, then certainly, we will end up with disappointment and unhappiness. If we wish to free ourselves from suffering, if we wish our life be filled with happiness and prosperity, then we must first dedicate ourselves to build a solid foundation of merit and wisdom.
The Founder Grand Master teaches that nowadays impurities and bad energies are so vast that they affect people in the worst possible way. Actually, these negative energies have been generated by people’s unwholesome thoughts and actions; and now, they are bouncing back. The more people are affected by such unfavorable energies, the more they become clouded and clueless, losing their sense for discernment; and they may end up turning themselves into a flame of anger and hatred that can burn the world into ashes. The Supreme Being is seeing that people are withering in misery and darkness. Loving His children, the Supreme Being sent forth the Founder Grand Master with the mission to guide humankind out of misery. The Founder Grand Master wishes to help all of humankind. However, He must respect the Law of Karma. This means that the Founder Grand Master can only help relieve the burden of karmic consequence for those who truly practice cultivation so that these disciples can continue to accumulate merits to repay the karmic debts of many lifetimes.
This teaching is a spiritual gift that I would like to give to all UHBE members on the 167th Birthday Celebration of Our beloved Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada.
